So if you ever have tens of programs windows open, simply use the Command + Option + W key-combination to close everything. For instance, you can close certain battery-draining apps and leave only the essential ones. FYI, by default, only “Close” is visible in the menu and it changes to “Close All” when the Option key is pressed. However, the Shortcuts app gives you more control over the tasks you want to stop from running in the background.
